Jacqueline “Jackie” Sue Snedegar Adams, age 73, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Born February 4, 1952, in Maysville, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert Clinton and Lela Frances Pickrell Snedegar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Gerald Lane Snedegar, Michael Cordell Snedegar, Neval Scott Snedegar, and Bobby Mitchell Snedegar.
Jackie is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Dennie “Dick” Adams; four brothers, Merle Dean Snedegar of Owingsville, Gary Lee Snedegar and wife JoAnn, Terry Lynn “Ike” Snedegar, and Danny Brooks Snedegar, all of Hillsboro; and one sister, Carolyn Jean Snedegar of Owingsville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Other survivors include special friends Ricky and Karen Brown and Bill Adams, all of Hillsboro; dedicated caregivers Kaitlyn Howard and Teresa McRoberts; as well as extended family and many dear friends.
Jackie was a homemaker and a graduate of Fleming County High School. She attended Hillsboro Christian Church. She had a deep love for animals, especially her cats and her goat, “Eeyore.” Jackie enjoyed gardening, caring for her flowers, cleaning up old cemeteries, and collecting coins and stamps. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2025, at Hutton Funeral Home with Brother Richard Engle and Brother Randy Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers: William Thompson, Barry Thompson, Monty Jent, Donnie “Hot Shot” Fawns, Hookie Ishmael, Ricky Brown, Willie Skaggs, and Mike Savey.
Honorary pallbearers: Gerald Dyer, David Lambert, Travis Fawns, Darren Fawns, Bill Adams, Mark Ramey, and Seth Ramey.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
