David Newton Earlywine, age 80, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born May 12, 1945, in Mt. Olivet, Robertson County, he was the son of the late Cecil Newton Earlywine and Della Fryman Earlywine. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jesse Newton Earlywine and Dora Fredricks Earlywine; maternal grandparents, John Fryman and Willa Keaton Williams Fryman; an infant sister, Diana Keaton; and his twin brother, Daryl Glen Earlywine.
David is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Bonnie Flora Earlywine, whom he married on May 14, 1966; one son, Kevin Newton Earlywine (Barbara); one daughter, Kathy Ann Earlywine; a grandson, Nicholas Newton Earlywine; and a great-granddaughter, Aurora Leigh Harding, all of Flemingsburg.
Other survivors include one brother, Ronnie Earlywine (Eda); a nephew, Travis Earlywine, and three special friends, Doug Gulley, Paula Hawkins, and Jesse Hickerson, all of Fleming County. He is also survived by other extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
David retired from Doyle Auto Sales after 40 years of dedicated service as an auto detailer. He enjoyed vacationing in the Smoky Mountains with his family and, most of all, spending time hunting and fishing with his son and grandson. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Hutton Funeral Home with Pastor Jesse Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Jerry Dixon, Josh Hickerson, Larry Gray, Aaron Reick, Doug Gulley, and Don McCarty.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2025, at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
